The Heritage Society (THS) was founded in 1954 by a group of public-spirited Houstonians determined to rescue the 1847 Kellum-Noble House from demolition. To preserve this home, which played an important role in Houston’s educational, entrepreneurial and cultural history, the founders created one of the city’s first and most enduring public/private partnerships at Sam Houston Park.
A Big Thank You to Bollo Woodfire Pizza, Pepperoni’s, Houston History Bus and St. Arnold Brewing Company.
