MUSEUM GALLERY - ALBERT & ETHEL HERZSTEIN
Explore Houston History, Texas History, and Cultural exhibits that express the stories of H-town’s population. The Heritage Society at Sam Houston Park hosts several specialty exhibits, permanent exhibits, and pop-up exhibits throughout the year.
Museum Gallery Hours: Tuesday – Saturday; 10 a.m.– 4 p.m. Check in for your exhibit and/or tour at the museum gallery’s gift shop, at 1100 Bagby Street (by the Mexican American mural in the plaza).
Admission: $5 for ages 6 and up. Free for ages 5 and under. (Members receive free entry to museum exhibits and exhibit openings as a benefit, more information here: Membership — The Heritage Society.)

HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW AND RODEO (HLSR) HISTORY
Our GIFT SHOP is located inside our newly remodeled Gallery. We have artisan jewelry, Houston souvenirs, vintage housewares, shabby-chic home decor, plush animals, maps from the past, soft t-shirts, old-fashioned toys, and membership packages. We also sell cold drinks, and you can pick up a complimentary Downtown Houston magazine.
Holiday Hours: The Heritage Society is closed on New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Sam Houston Park is open daily from dawn to dusk.
