Did you know that The Heritage Society has guard cats for our historic houses? Visitors often come pet the friendly felines and some even get adopted. There are 10 cats featured for our 10 houses. All have different personalities, and one is even an office cat. The possum joined the cat club, so she could get some good eats. It’s important that we take care of wildlife, after all we are located at Sam Houston Park!
