Madame de Pompadour, Louis XV’s mistress, was vital in making Sèvres a world brand. She pushed to have the factory moved near her chateau and bought in the foremost artists of her time. The result was dazzling. This combination of cobalt blue, gilt, and white is but one of the inspired colors from that 18th century period. These circular, dangle earrings look good with a navy suit or jeans.
