“LOVE IS IN THE AIR” EXPRESS WEDDINGS ARE BACK IN 2022!

History will be repeating itself in 2022, because The Heritage Society broke a record in 2021 in Sam Houston Park’s history. We conducted 29 ceremonies for Valentine’s Day weekend with an express weddings extravaganza.  Couples jumped at the chance to get married for a “Love Is in the Air” wedding package including all the wedding bells and whistles.  In 2022, a couple can walk down the aisle or renew their vows for $500 in a historic church followed by a light reception.

Know of anyone planning Christmas or New Year's Eve marriage proposals? Anybody you know eloping or renewing their vows? Anybody have pandemic concerns when it comes to wedding plans? We have the solution!

Last year, we sold out of our express weddings with all details... and had 120 couples on standby. We encourage interested couples book as soon as possible.

For $500, couples will receive a quaint and classic one-hour ceremonial experience with -

• An officiant

• A decorated historic St. John Church (up to 10 guests)

• Musician(s)

• A floral bouquet and a boutonniere

• A photographer

• A champagne toast and small pastries

• Security

• Free parking

Dates available: Saturday, February 12 and Sunday, February 13. For the super romantic duos, Monday, February 14 is available upon request.

The weddings will occur rain or shine. The wedding fees are non-refundable. Last year, our express weddings were performed on the day when the Arctic Freeze blew into Houston…all were happily married!
