The Downtown District and City of Houston will be hosting Winter Wanderland on Bagby Street which is a lighting extravaganza for the grand re-opening of Bagby Street from 6 PM - 9 PM, on Friday, November 19. Our museum area will be converted to a Candlelight Tours Experience.

Below is a list of activities that The Heritage Society has planned at 1100 Bagby Street in coordination with the City's Winter Wanderland lighting extravaganza which starts at 6 PM. Most are free with the exception of the food, drinks, shopping and exhibits.

2 Historic House Tours with Reenactors and Docents
Enjoy holiday/gospel choir performances
Meet historical characters Sam Houston and a NoTsuOh King and a Queen

There are several activities planned for Winter Wanderland at Sam Houston Park and all down Bagby Street. Charge your phone, there will be lots of pics to take!
A million dollars worth of lighting will be turned on all up and down Bagby Street at around 6:30 PM or at sunset. Other activities will also be provided all up and down Bagby Street to create a Boulevard experience, and a children’s area will be at Sam Houston Park.
