In 2023, we broke a wedding record and married 43 couples in Sam Houston Park! In 2025, we hope to marry 50 plus couples. Our affordable wedding packages have returned in 2025 thanks to our sponsors:

The Heritage Society at Sam Houston Park at 1100 Bagby Street has affordable wedding ceremonies in beautiful settings for $75 or $150 at Sam Houston Park on Friday, February 14, Valentine’s Day.
CEREMONY OPTION 1: We are offering express wedding outdoor ceremonies for only $75 for a 30-minute ceremony at the Bandstand or the majestic Jane Ellen’s Tree. Couples must have obtained their marriage licenses in advance.
CEREMONY OPTION 2: Couples can get married at the 1891 St. John Church for a 30-minute ceremony for *$150! Couples must have obtained their marriage licenses in advance.
We can only hold ceremony places for those who have paid in advance, and we will try our best to accommodate walk-ins only if an officiant and ceremony location are available.
Couples who want to renew their vows may also register/participate in either of the two services offered.

VALENTINE’S DAY EXPRESS OUTDOOR WEDDINGS
Get married on Valentine’s Day in a 30-minute ceremony in a beautiful, outdoor historic setting.
Couples will receive a free venue rental at the Bandstand or Jane Ellen’s Tree.
Parking is free at 212 Dallas St.
Reservations are highly encouraged and will be accommodated first. We will try to accommodate Walk-Ins if there is availability, but this is not a guarantee.
Wedding Services are $75. Services may be purchased and scheduled on our website in advance.
Our generous volunteer judges/officiants are making this day affordable, and we could not do this without them.

The ceremonies will be about 15 minutes long and scheduled in 30-minute increments for those who make reservations in advance.
Couples may take photos at Sam Houston Park in front of the historic houses with the exception of the Bandstand, Jane Ellen’s Tree, or St. John Church because they will have weddings in progress.
This offer is valid for Wednesday, February 14, 2025, and ceremony reservations are scheduled every 30 minutes, from 10 AM - 6 PM.
The weddings will occur rain or shine. The wedding fees are non-refundable.
You may bring your photographer, flowers, something borrowed, something new, and something blue. We will provide something “old”, which is your historic wedding site.
