Support The Heritage Society

Donations

For over 50 years, The Heritage Society has been dedicated to preserving Houston's past by acquiring and maintaining historic structures. Today, nine historic structures, each representing different developmental stages and cultural influence in Houston's history, are protected and conserved by The Heritage Society. This extensive outdoor museum provides visitors with an enriching educational experience. You can support The Heritage Society by giving a donation. For more information regarding any of the following please contact us at 713.655.1912, ext. 113 or acollette@heritagesociety.org. It is the policy of The Heritage Society not to sell or otherwise share the names, addresses, phone numbers, or e-mail addresses of contributors and/or members.

The Heritage Society depends upon public donations to continue its work. You can help!  Making a donation through our secure server is fast and easy, and when we receive your donation, we will send you an acknowledgement in the mail for tax purposes. Thank you for your support!

Please note: We use a nonprofit service to process our credit card transactions. GIVEDIRECT is the name that will appear on your credit card statement - not The Heritage Society. Using a 3rd party helps us keep our costs low and allows us to spend more time and money on our programs!

Annual Fund Campaign

The Heritage Society is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that depends on community support to preserve, restore, and educate the public about Houston’s valuable cultural heritage. Your contribution to the Annual Fund Campaign ensures the continued success of our programs. Please join with other generous individuals, corporations, and foundations to help The Heritage Society in its mission to preserve Houston’s history.

Make Your Grocery Dollars Count

The Heritage Society participates in the Randall’s’ Good Neighbor Program and Rice Epicurean Experience Card. The programs  allow you to generate a contribution to The Heritage Society each time you grocery shop.

Anyone who has a Remarkable Card can link it to The Heritage Society by visiting the customer service desk and they will link your Remarkable Card to our Good Neighbor number (1406).

Rice Epicurean Markets has a points-based program. We encourage you to enroll at any of the store locations or at www.riceepicurean.com  For every $1 you spend at Rice Epicurean with your Experience Card, you will earn 1 point. When you accumulate a minimum of 5,000 points, you can then redeem your points good for a $50 check payable from Rice Epicurean to The Heritage Society.

Matching Gifts Double Your Donations!

Many employers match the contributions of employees and retirees to non-profit organizations. Matching gift forms are usually available through corporations’ personnel offices and are simple to complete. Make the most of your contribution by taking advantage of your employers’ matching gifts programs.  Houston’s heritage is in your hands!
